Since 1985, Mama O has been cultivating her skills of baking delicious beautiful treats. From making birthday cakes for each of her children to providing delectable cookies and cupcakes at our bake sales to college functions, and now, a family business; Mama O’s gift has blossomed by the grace of God. It all officially began on June 15th, 2020, when two of the Oluokun children posted about a cake our then 12-year-old sibling made. Immediately, several friends who followed the Instagram page made inquiries about this specific cake (the infamous chocolate espresso cake). Orders were placed and thus, Mama O’s was birthed!
Mama O's Bakery, by the grace of God, has come a long way. Aside from crafting wedding and celebration cakes, with the generous help of TINT (a non-profit organization in Boston), we launched our authentic Nigerian meat pies at the Boston Local Food Festival 2023! In the past 2 years, we have been vending at multiple different events, such as: Takeda Pharmaceutical Celebrating Black History month, Boston Local Food Festival, Ashland Fall Fest, Medway Fall fest, and more! We love to be able to share our treats with the community, and we are working to partner with more organizations to do so, bringing a measure of sweetness and authentic flavors wherever we are found.
